Operations


This process extends from the time the vessels dock at the port until they depart and includes information flow, reporting and checking done to ensure that the tasks are completed without any problems. It also includes meeting the needs of the ship and its crew while the vessel is in the port.

Purpose of the Training Session

The purpose is to equip trainees with the following skills: Describe the relationship between vessels, ports and certificates

Identify container vessels

Describe the types of agencies

State the services given to passenger vessels

Describe the relationship between ship-owner, agency and renter

List the different kinds of freight

Distinguish between standard reports such as schedules and TADR
